Privacy Policy — Handhold: Daily Habit Coach
Last updated 14 October 2026 · applies to Handhold for iOS
Handhold keeps your habits on your iPhone. Webspind runs no server and cannot see which programs you follow or which days you did your step. The only thing sent on is purchase details. This page explains it in detail, and exists because Apple requires a privacy policy for every app.
What the app stores
The programs you picked, your own habits, the days you marked Done, your rest day, when you want to do each step and your reminder times. They stay on your iPhone. There is no account, no advertising identifier, no tracking and no analytics.
Widgets and Control Center
To show today's step in widgets and let you tap Done from the Home Screen, Lock Screen or Control Center, the app shares that step with its own widgets on your iPhone. Nothing leaves the device.
iCloud
If iCloud is on, your progress syncs through your own iCloud account so it follows you to a new iPhone. It lives in your private iCloud database at Apple; Webspind cannot access it.
Reminders
If you turn on reminders, the app asks for permission to send notifications. They are scheduled on your iPhone; nothing is sent to Webspind.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple. To confirm and restore them, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase details (product, price, time and App Store receipt) and technical details such as app version and country. RevenueCat receives no habits, name or email.
Contacting support
If you tap "Contact support", your mail app opens. You choose whether to send; if you do, I receive what you write and your email address, and use it only to reply.
Crash reports
If you share analytics with developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may send me aggregated crash reports with device model, iOS version and a stack trace. They contain no name, email or habits.
Children
Handhold is not directed at children under 13.
Not medical advice
Handhold offers small everyday habit steps. It is not medical, health or sleep advice.
Delete your data
Deleting the app deletes everything it stored on your iPhone. Progress in iCloud can be deleted in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage. For purchase data at RevenueCat, write to me and I will have it deleted.
Changes
If the policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the change is mentioned in the app's release notes.
