Privacy Policy — Loftpass: Part 107 Test Prep
Last updated 13 October 2026 · applies to Loftpass for iOS
Loftpass keeps your study progress on your iPhone. Webspind runs no server and cannot see which questions you answer or how you do. The only thing sent on is purchase details. This page explains it in detail, and exists because Apple requires a privacy policy for every app.
What the app stores
Your answers, mock tests, the test date you may enter and your reminder settings. They stay on your iPhone. There is no account, no advertising identifier, no tracking and no analytics.
iCloud
If iCloud is on, your progress syncs through your own iCloud account so it follows you to a new iPhone. It lives in your private iCloud database at Apple; Webspind cannot access it.
Reminders
If you turn on study reminders, the app asks for permission to send notifications. They are scheduled on your iPhone; nothing is sent to Webspind.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple. To confirm and restore them, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase details (product, price, time and App Store receipt) and technical details such as app version and country. RevenueCat receives no answers, name or email.
Reporting a question
If you tap "Report a problem with this question", your mail app opens with the question's ID. You choose whether to send it; if you do, I receive what you write and your email address, and use it only to reply and fix the question.
Crash reports
If you share analytics with developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may send me aggregated crash reports with device model, iOS version and a stack trace. They contain no name, email or answers.
Children
Loftpass is meant for people preparing for the FAA Remote Pilot test (minimum age 16) and is not directed at children under 13.
Delete your data
Deleting the app deletes everything it stored on your iPhone. Progress in iCloud can be deleted in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage. For purchase data at RevenueCat, write to me and I will have it deleted.
Not affiliated with the FAA
Loftpass is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Federal Aviation Administration. Chart figures are from public FAA publications and are not for navigation.
Changes
If the policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the change is mentioned in the app's release notes.
