My purchase isn't showing
Open Settings in the app and tap “Restore Purchases”, using the Apple Account you bought with. Purchases approved by a parent (Ask to Buy) unlock automatically once approved.
A link didn't import
Most recipe websites work. If one doesn't, choose “Paste the text instead”: copy the recipe on the website and paste it, then check it before saving. You can also scan a printed page.
Timers don't ring
Cookside asks to use alarms the first time you start a timer. If you said no, turn alarms on for Cookside in iPhone Settings, or the timer falls back to a notification.
A scanned recipe has wrong numbers
Scanning reads printed text on your iPhone and highlights numbers and lines it isn't sure about. Check those before you save.
Recipes on a new iPhone
With iCloud on, your recipes follow you automatically. Sign in with the same Apple Account.
