Questions
Why does the first run take longer?
The page downloads the reading model for your language once (a few megabytes). Your files are still never uploaded.
How accurate is it?
Clean, straight scans come out very well. Photos taken at an angle, handwriting and faint print are harder.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The page loads the tools into your browser, and your files are opened and saved on your own device. You can disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded and the tools keep working.
Is there a file-size limit?
Only your device's memory. Most computers handle PDFs of several hundred pages. On a phone, very large files can be slow.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no account, no trial and no watermark.
