Questions

Is this a legally valid signature?

It's a picture of your handwritten signature, like signing a printout. Whether that's enough depends on the document and your country. It is not a certified digital signature.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The page loads the tools into your browser, and your files are opened and saved on your own device. You can disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded and the tools keep working.

Is there a file-size limit?

Only your device's memory. Most computers handle PDFs of several hundred pages. On a phone, very large files can be slow.

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no account, no trial and no watermark.
